Learn, Experiment, Explore and Play!

These are all things we like to encourage during our classes. Wondering what is STEAM, the foundation for all our lessons? STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.

Science

Science is observing and experimenting, making predictions, sharing discoveries, asking questions, and wondering how things work.

Technology

Technology is using tools, being inventive, identifying problems, and making things work.

Engineering

Engineering is solving problems, using a variety of materials, designing and creating, and building things that work.

Art

The expression of a sentient being through or on an accessible medium so that anyone can view, hear or experience it.

Maths

Math is sequencing (1, 2, 3, 4…), patterning (1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2…), and exploring shapes (triangle, square, circle), volume (holds more or less), and size (bigger, less than).

Little Discovery

Classes for 2-4 year olds

Our Little Discovery class is a wonderful way of introducing toddlers to the magical world around them! We offer experimental sessions to stimulate sensory play, fine motor and social skills all while being introduced to numbers, shapes, animals, plants, bugs and much more.

The sessions are filled with many exciting discoveries, we like to stimulate and surprise your little ones! Children are curious by nature and eager to learn. Our preschool activities are designed to support the love of learning and encourage all the children to interact with the world. Join our fun, creative educational classes and let’s explore and wonder together.

Little Explorers

Classes for 4-6 year olds

Little Explorers will begin their wonderful journey with numbers, science, building, art and technology. The foundation for a children’s development in S.T.E.A.M is established in their earliest years. In our classes children will love learning about new topics, being creative and experimenting with new textures, materials and skills.

Our hands on creative steam classes are designed to assist in these critical stages of a child’s cognitive development – helping them to process information, solve problems and make decisions all while having fun crafting, doing experiments, getting messy and building wonderful creations.

Little Scientists

Classes for 6-8 year olds

Our Little Scientists classes help lay the foundation for your child’s future academic progress with weekly project based steam classes. Children our encouraged to think outside the box, become problem solvers and express their ideas through creative steam based crafts and experiments.

Our classes are filled with exciting new topics each week, keeping children engaged, having fun and learning new skills. Children at this age are hungry for information and eager to master new skills. Our classes give them confidence to believe in themselves and feel proud of their wonderful creations and achievements.

LITTLE PROFESSORS AT YOUR SCHOOL

We offer exciting, hands on, creative and educational after-school classes or during-school classes to children aged 2 to 8 years!

At Little Professors we foster the love of science and steam through our innovative, creative and hands on S.T.E.A.M Classes.

Our creative steam classes are filled with exciting new topics each week, keeping children engaged, having fun and learning new skills. Holiday Club

Come join us on a fun, educational, mind blowing holiday camp!

Each camp has its own unique theme! Children will create magical crafts, exploding experiments and laugh and play with their explorer buddies!

Why STEAM Science Classes?

Using art in STEAM projects helps students understand how varied the arts are, and how they’re an integral part of products that involve engineering, technology, and mathematics
